Our private Equestrian Center offers members every service from grooming and boarding to lessons and trail rides. Members and guests may enjoy horseback tours of beautiful Daufuskie Island, plus private and group lessons. Both English and Western tack and technique are available.

Haig Point Equestrian Facility

The Equestrian Center at Haig Point is a charming facility, perfect for private horse owners and trail riders. We have a 12-stall barn, complete with tack room, lounge, restroom, office and wash/groom stalls. The stables are on three, meticulously manicured acres. Boarding includes daily pasture maintenance to provide horses with adequate grazing. We have four turnout pastures as well as a riding arena and round pen. We are fully staffed seven days a week to provide you and your horses with special attention and care.

Daily Equestrian Activities

We offer several daily activities for riders of all ages and experience levels. Instruction is available in English and Western seats in both private and group settings. Our experienced instructors are available to assess your riding style and abilities to help you improve as a rider.

Experienced riders may enjoy a brisk canter down the long stretch of white, sandy beaches. In addition, we have several trails for beginner and intermediate riders to take in the Sea Island beauty of Haig Point and Daufuskie Island. And, there are pony rides and pony lessons for the young horsemen and horsewomen in the family.
